Queen or The Beatles?

I believe Queen were better musically but The Beatles were obviously the reason many bands started up.

In terms of lyrics, Lennon probably wins it and for vocals, I have to give it to Mercury.



I reckon Queen could have been the more successful of the two if Mercury hadn't revealed his preferences. Afterall, "I want to break free" really killed Queen.

I like both,but I have to choose the beatles,cause I grew up listening to them.

I like them both, but Queen is my favorite
The Beatles -overall musicality, lyrics and longevity make them better than Queen (though I still love Queen as well).
