Right - i'm writing an essay about Handels englishness and have gotten into a big heap of writer's block talking about Mozart's arrangement of Messiah. I reckon knowing the lyrics (in german) would be really quite useful but cant seem to find them anywhere - despite my google based endeavors. Can anyone help me out? i really dont fancy having to pay for a whole score just to flick through the lyrics. Even just for the Hallelujah chorus would be handy. I could just translate it word for word but that wouldnt be of much use, see im trying to look at how Mozart aryanised it (ive decided that's a word) so lyrics are key :(
